Position Summary

As an Enterprise Data Architect in our Technology Division, you will be a critical member of our Enterprise Architecture team at the forefront of innovation driving our business data solutions and empowering customer success. 


You will be a strategic technology leader responsible for establishing the end-to-end vision of the unified business data platform. You will collaborate with a variety of key users and stakeholders, including; Business and Data Owners, Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Data Management teams, Application and Data Analytic Managers and Data Engineers to ensure developed solutions adhere to established best patterns and our architectural target state.  This role is a highly technical role with strong leadership, strong interpersonal skills, data management acumen and technical competencies to deliver business data solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimal 8+ years’ experience in data warehousing/BI/analytics.
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as an Enterprise Data Architect.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in Cloud platforms.
  • At least 6 to 12 months of experience working with/in Snowflake.
  • Understanding of Snowflake design patterns and migration architectures a major plus.
  • Deep understanding of Data Architecture and Data Quality best practices.
  • 6+ years of experience in logical & physical modeling (designing dimensional data models/facts/SCD from scratch).
  • 4+ years’ experience in data lakehouse design/maintenance.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Possess critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective team building skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of data warehouse, data lake, data mart and data lakehouse technologies and capabilities.
  • Experienced with Oracle, PostgreSQL and Snowflake is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of at least one ETL tool like Boomi, AWS Glue, Qlik Replicate, Talend, etc.
  • Knowledge of AWS and solution architecture that leverages AWS capabilities.
  • Knowledge of DataOps principles and implementation of CI/CD within cloud platforms (i.e., AWS) is a plus.
  • Expert in SQL and good with data modelling for relational, analytical workloads.
  • Strong business acumen and project finance skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, facilitation, organizational savvy, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working independently and in an Agile team environment is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and gain commitment at all organizational levels.



  • Meeting with business users & stakeholders to capture and analyze requirements for data supporting transactional, analytic, and reporting needs.
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards, and principles, including modeling, metadata, security, master & reference data.
  • Build conceptual/logical/physical data models using concepts like star-schema modeling, snowflake schema modeling, fact, and dimension tables.
  • Develop the enterprise business data strategy and reference architectures (i.e., data storage, data processing, dataops, data management, predictive analytics, data reporting and visualization, and Data ingestion and Integration).
  • Design models of data processing that implement the intended business model
  • Play a key role in engaging parts of the CAS Technology staff and peers to ensure a successful rollout program.
  • This role serves as a thought leader across CAS on the uses, sources, and manipulation of business data.
  • Ability to perform many tasks during the creation of a solution including project management, technical architecture and design, physical design, technology strategy, work estimation, and budgets.
  • Qualify innovative technologies and software products prior to attempting to introduce them to CAS.
  • Initiate data architecture with delivery teams and direct them to effective technologies and designs.
  • Lead the triage of complex issues, recommending and implementing short / long terms solutions to address items found in discovery
  • Design, implement and analyze performance optimization of code and architecture
  • Identify and propose efforts to eliminate redundant applications and Integrations.
  • Change agent to anticipate technology opportunities and support business initiatives
