CAS is currently seeking a Market Research Analyst. This position will be located in our Columbus, OH headquarters.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Primarily responsible for conducting secondary and primary market research, analyzing and  synthesizing data into useful and insightful information.
  • Design and execute market research projects, develop and translate analysis, creating presentations of research and findings. Provide ad hoc decision support to fulfill the needs of the Marketing organization.
  • Capable of in-house execution and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative primary market research, synthesizing qualitative response or descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, as appropriate in order to extract actionable insights and communicate those insights within and outside the Marketing organization.
  • Uses statistical methods to analyze research data to identify business-relevant patterns and trends that generate actionable insights within specified timeframes; Partners with other teams and provides data/insights as needed to produce reports/analysis.
  • Works collaboratively with Marketing to understand and design analytical approaches to open-ended strategic business problems; Serves as a technical resource to others on market research methodologies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, Psychology, Market Research or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Market Research preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in Market Research roles of increasing responsibility in commercial organizations
  • 2 years of experience executing in-house (without vendor support) primary market research—Screener, Discussion Guide and Survey instrument development (including survey programming and other skills) as well as recruiting and reporting; significant experience managing external research vendors and agencies
  • Experience with Qualtrics or Optimal Workshop preferred
  • Experience in Message Testing, Net Promotor, and Brand Creative Research desirable
