CAS is currently seeking a Sales Support Analyst. This position will be based in our headquarters in Columbus, OH.

Position Accountabilities:

 

  • The incumbent compiles and analyzes data to draw conclusions and recommend business solutions to support internal and external customer needs, including
  • Assists in the development and evaluation of customer account administration (product and customer-specific pricing as well as business policy adherence),
  • Support of product and program evaluation (e.g., trend analysis, analyzing program success)
  • Periodic financial/marketing analysis of information, as assigned.
  • Evaluation of policies and processes (e.g., for product support programs).  Responsible for documenting and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. 
  • Supports development of proposals to address on-demand customer requests regarding variations to standard programs, policies, prices, and/or ordering or fulfillment based upon customer or precedent setting criteria.
  • Responsible for accurately communicating key pricing, access and other contractual terms to support account administration for implementation.   May lead customer support teams, as assigned.
  • Performs quality assurance, identifies issues, and may resolve, as assigned (e.g., correction of customer invoicing or reporting errors) analyzing data for anomalies, trends, and adherence for continuous improvement and ensuring appropriate controls.
  • Serves as an internal resource for Strategic, Consortia and complex account needs.  Requires attention to detail, critical thinking and strong time management skills to coordinate and share information across multiple teams. Provides solutions for customer inquiries and needs.
  • Researches and analyzes SAP, Salesforce.com and/or MS Outlook records for implementation of corporate partnership agreements and specialized billing of contracts.  Communicates with Revenue Ops staff in resolving technical and operational problems pertaining to products supported.

 

 

Education/Experience/Technological Knowledge:

 

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Up to three (3) years of experience in business, sales, finance with a focus on data analysis
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, attention to detail, and responsiveness
  • Strong degree of precision and accuracy required with ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Basic experience with MS Office applications (specifically Excel and Power Point)
  • Basic skills in business systems (i.e. SAP, Saleforce.com, SQL, and Oracle)
  • Experience with Customer Information Research / Maintenance of SAP Hierarchies.
  • Strong skills in planning, attention to detail and ability to be responsive to changing priorities and projects.

Position Summary

CAS is currently seeking a Sales Support Analyst.  This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred

Strong attention to detail

Customer account set up and/or accounting experience

Proficiency in MS Office products

Prior experience with SAP and/or Salesforce.com a plus

Duties:

Provides customer account administration setting up customer hierarchy, purchase contracts and enabling access. 

Supports CAS customers for the following CAS products: STN, SciFinder, SciFinder-n, NCI, CHEMCATS, and MethodsNow.

Provides login ID support, non-billable access and general account maintenance.
