CAS is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist. This position will be located in our Columbus, OH headquarters.

 

Position Summary

The CAS Marketing team develops and implements outreach strategies that drive CAS brand elevation and achievement of organizational growth goals. This position works with marketing, cross-functional business teams, and outside vendors to develop and execute compelling, relevant, and measurable digital marketing campaigns. This role is responsible for managing SEO programs to establish CAS as an authority within the scientific information industry and applying eCommerce and lead generation strategies to support CAS business objectives. This role is a complete end-to-end opportunity to significantly impact a business for a candidate with a proven growth record and willingness to invest in the future. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic contributor who can rally themself and their teams in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies knowledge of marketing strategies, industry trends, and usability best practices to achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Leads and motivates cross-functional teams to create online experiences that exceed the expectations of our target audiences.
  • Create, plan, and execute B2B and B2C marketing schedules and strategies to achieve lead generation, usage and adoption, and online sales objectives.
  • Has a mastery of web coding and SEO best practices and experience applying this to global, translated B2B websites.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and eCommerce opportunities to provide for evaluation and adoption where appropriate.
  • Analyze campaign results and provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations for improved performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Support to extend the campaign experience throughout the customer experience. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing or a related field, preferred
  • 2-5 years of digital marketing and eCommerce experience, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy
  • Experience combining digital marketing (CMS, MAP, Social) with eCommerce platforms and practices
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, lead generation in B2B/B2C, audience segmentation, and various channels for digital marketing
  • Proficiency in programming languages including HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Firm understanding of fundamental design principles and online user interface conventions
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving ability
  • Experience executing integrated, multi-tactic digital campaigns and using data to measure and optimize
  • Proven ability to work effectively across business teams to deliver actionable results
  • Self-motivated influencer with clear, persuasive, and inspiring in both written and verbal communication
