CAS is currently seeking a Salesforce Business Requirements Analyst.  This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

 

 

 

Position Summary:  CAS is currently seeking an experienced Business Requirements Analyst with Salesforce solution design and configuration skills on our Business Technology team.  This team player will support investigations and implementations of innovative business capabilities in our Salesforce environment and across our integrated business application platform, as aligned with architectural strategy.
 

 

Duties:

  • Provide thought leadership for extended and innovative business capabilities on the Salesforce platform and across the integrated business technology ecosystem
  • Influence and maintain alignment with Business Technology architecture strategy and associated business data architecture; contribute to roadmap efforts related to Salesforce solution architecture
  • Contribute to project proposals for significant business application initiatives, providing functional input and business value justification for business cases that align with architecture strategy
  • Foster close partnerships with Business Technology colleagues and with business application owners, business analysts, and system administrators/coordinators who represent end user areas across the organization
  • Embrace and engage in agility practices that drive continuous delivery for the cross-functional team, as based on Kanban/Jira-based workflow with associated backlog/delivery reporting
  • Ensure coordination and prioritization across routine enhancements, solution investigations, project-level initiatives, and production support with the team
  • Facilitate implementation of business application initiatives, as aligned with established corporate objectives; create, coordinate, and execute on delivery plans for approved projects, in collaboration with business areas
  • Lead discovery and related client engagement processes, while engaging directly in business requirements clarification and solution design for complex business needs with technology colleagues and business analysts
  • Partner with business and technical teams on detailed solution design, as the solid basis for efficiently configuring/developing, testing, and deploying effective and reliable solutions
  • Develop applicable artifacts for each initiative:  business requirements details, functional specifications, use case scenarios, business rules, process flow diagrams, data mappings, configuration test plans/results etc.
  • Complete application configuration efforts; contribute to coordinated testing and deployment efforts for solutions that encompass configuration, custom development, and system integration
  • Support value-based improvement efforts that help evolve and improve business requirements analysis, quality assurance, and agile delivery approaches and toolsets, in order to enhance team effectiveness  

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience in Information Technology field
  • At least 3-6 years of Salesforce implementation and production support experience, including collaborative business requirements, solution design, system configuration, QA testing, and production issue resolution
  • Direct experience on the Force.com platform, including 3+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud solution design and software configuration with in-depth understanding of Sales Cloud platform options/impacts
  • Proficient with building rapport and credibility as a strategic partner with business divisions, while working with colleagues and leaders at various levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work with business stakeholders and technology colleagues to investigate automation of business practices that span integrated business applications and data domains; capability to investigate and present new technology solutions to bring value to core CAS business/technical processes
  • Experience with eliciting/analyzing requirements for future state business scenarios, then collaborating with technology/business colleagues on solution design options/decisions and subsequent implementations
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and utilize best practices for Salesforce implementation throughout solution design, configuration, testing, and production deployment phases, as well as for proactive/reactive production support and incident management/resolution
  • Self-starter with strategic thinking, conceptual/analytic capabilities, detail-oriented problem solving skills, and personal accountability; ability to place focus on business results with solid requirements/design skills
  • Effective communicator and facilitator with strong teaming skills, as conducive to a high performance organization; adept at influencing and achieving results using positive and collaborative methods
