Manager, Exhibits and Sponsorships

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Meetings Operations, the Manager Exhibits & Sponsorship is responsible the development and implementation of the planning timeline as it relates to the exposition and sponsorship management and fulfillment for spring/fall meetings, regional and specialty conferences. The incumbent develops services integral to the logistical management of expositions and sponsorships for the spring/fall meeting and is a key point of contact as it relates to matters in this area.


The incumbent will develop a planning and fulfillment strategy around the exhibits and sponsorship program as well as developing a program to strengthen our offerings to exhibitors and sponsors in general.


  • Develops and manages budgets for the exposition for spring/fall meetings including paying particular attention to financial controls, cost containment issues, developing enhanced income and future forecasting.
  • Manages exhibition operations and logistics, for spring/fall meetings, including responsibility for the execution, production and onsite management of expositions at specialty conferences.
  • Responsible for all logistics data entry, fulfillment, and onsite management for all areas on the expo show floor, booths, lounges, and career navigator live area.
  • Responsible for the creation and submission of expo show management signage, and sponsorship signage creation, and management.
  • Responsible for sponsorship and exhibit booth fulfillment process; exhibitor and sponsorship contracting, invoice, payment collection, benefits fulfillment, in support of revenue goals.
  • Create and distribute weekly exhibitor and sponsorship sales reports
  • Create and distribute exhibitor necessary communications, expo new letter, confirmations, housing announcements, and other pertinent information.
  • Point of Contact for general service vendor.
  • Work with the Expo Sales Assistant Director to develop marketable exposition floor plans, including incorporating specialty and educational areas throughout the floor, enhancing the overall exhibitor and attendee experience.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure fulfillment processes support the ability to hit revenue goals.
  • Work with the sales team to develop and conduct on-site and post-conference evaluations to improve future expositions, and create poste-event sponsor reporting.
  • Learn and become an expert in software platforms used to produce the event (virtual meeting platform, a2z Personify, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Serves as a staff liaison to the exposition sub-committee of the Committee on Meetings & Expositions.
  • Work with ACS units to establish metrics for evaluating and revising programs to meet changing needs.

This position will be primarily based in the Washington D.C. (or applicable) office. ACS employees work a hybrid work schedule, consisting of working onsite, three days per week. ACS employees are in the office on Tuesday and Wednesday with the third in-office day scheduled in consultation with the manager. While always welcome to work in the office, employees may work the other two days of the week from a location of their choice. New employees are immediately eligible for this hybrid work arrangement. ACS offers relocation assistance, if applicable.
