CAS is currently seeking a Senior Brand Manager - Content Marketing on our Marketing team.  This position will be located in our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

 

Position Summary:

As a Sr. Brand Manager at CAS, you will be responsible for developing and activating marketing campaigns and content strategies that bring the CAS organization, expertise, and capabilities to life in the market and drive our growth. This role will be key to the success of our strategic plan as we seek to increase awareness of CAS in growth segments, expand brand perceptions to encompass newer solutions and capabilities, and strengthen market understanding of our core value proposition. Equal parts aspirational storyteller, detail-oriented practitioner, and creative content strategist, you must be able to collaborate with leaders across the organization and with our external agency partners, inspiring them with the power of our brand while driving consistent alignment to our strategy and ensuring a positive ROI.

 

Job Duties:

  • Contribute to development and management of annual brand marketing plan, metric targets, and budget
  • Lead enterprise thought leadership strategy and execution, including accountability for growth of CAS Insights scientific thought leadership platform
  • Plan thought leadership content calendar aligned to strategy and oversee development of relevant content assets, events, etc. in collaboration with appropriate technical SMEs and agency partners
  • Lead on-going data-driven optimization of brand content strategy and promotional campaigns by analyzing performance data and tracking market trends
  • Establish and optimize repeatable processes and standards for efficient content development, publishing, and promotional execution
  • Lead assigned brand campaigns, programs, and events
  • Establish strong, collaborative relationships with Marketing and Sales peers and SMEs to support integration of brand elevation strategies across touchpoints and enable alignment of all key initiatives to brand strategy.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or higher in a related field.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success in marketing, branding, PR, publishing, or communications roles.
  • Expertise in brand, content marketing, and thought leadership strategy and execution
  • Previous experience leading planning, development, and execution of campaigns targeting global audiences, preferably focused on technical or scientific solutions, services, or segments.
  • Previous experience developing and executing integrated content strategies leveraging multiple asset types, such as articles, whitepapers, webinars, videos, infographics, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and driving execution through agency and/or freelance resources and managing agency relationships.
  • Demonstrated process improvement, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills. Able to communicate effectively across all levels of management in a highly matrixed or agile environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Marketing or branding experience in a global business
  • Knowledge of one or more of CAS target market/customer segments including: pharmaceutical, chemical, life sciences, intellectual property, energy, data science, etc.
  • Experience with SEO platforms, e.g. SEMRush; Google Analytics; Sharepoint, Tableau
